A true Fairy Tale!
One of the most common phrases I hear from a brides is, "I want my day to be perfect", and then I take a deep breath and imagine they want Snow White magic where the birds and mice sing... Oh wait, was that Cinderella? Either one of the fairy tales sounds like what it is, a fairy tale. I smile and nod and then I let them know with that brutality that I am now known for, wait I meant to say honesty.. Anyway, I let them know that is simply a fairy tale and that many many things will wrong, but no one will know. How dare I say that! Simple, planning a wedding is no easy task, so many vendors, colors, dresses and mother in laws that seem to multiply..Yes, I said it!
The important thing is to let go!
Plan and set your dreams on a piece of paper and then choose your favorite vendors. Set your expectations and let them do the thing they do best. Let them deal with the little things and the big things. And if for some reason you see something that was not planned, then roll with it. This is how fairy tales really happen, rolling with the punches and enjoying each moment that matters with your loved ones.
